High Risk Work Licence Courses

Site Safety Services don’t issue invalid, “quick & easy” High Risk Work Licences. We provide quality training to help prepare a candidate for their Assessments.

Verification of Competency – VOC
Due to Changes in Legislation in 2012, employers and PCBUs have an increased obligation to ensure the people they hire are competent to undertake the tasks they have been hired to perform.
Simply holding a licence doesn’t cover this obligation, and the employer/PCBU is required to show evidence of how they determined competency. Theoretical knowledge, practical operating skills, as well as a thorough safety awareness should all be included in any VOC assessment.
The employer/PCBU must also be able to demonstrate that the person conducting the assessments is competent, qualified, and holds relevant and current skills in the areas they assess in.
